[Kedah, Malaysia] On 3 September, EVE Energy Malaysst Kedah and Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) at EVE’s premises. Anchored by the state government’s facilitation, the EVE–UniKL strategic collaboration in new energy and battery technology aims to build a high-impact platform for talent development and academic exchange, accelerate the transfer of research outcomes, and drive industrial upgrading in Kedah.

Signing of the Letter of Intent (LOI): A New Starting Point for 1 Industry–University–Research Collaboration

The ceremony comprised the LOI signing, a group photo, and a souvenir exchange. Coordinated by Invest Kedah, the EVE–UniKL partnership advances talent & industrial training, joint technology transfer, quality improvement, and a “teaching factory.” Leveraging the Kulim Hi-Tech Park ecosystem, it will strengthen Kedah’s electrical and electronics (E&E) and energystorage value chains, upgrade local suppliers, and create quality jobs—forming a replicableuniversity–industry model.
