[Kedah, Malaysia] On 7 August, EVE Energy Malaysia and Malaysia’s leading university, Universiti Malaya (UM), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and inaugurated a Joint Laboratory at EVE’s premises. The partnership will advance new energy and battery technology through industry–academia–research collaboration, talent development, and the commercialisation of innovations.

At the ceremony, Managing Director of EVE Energy Malaysia, Mr. He YingShen and Dean, Faculty of Science, Universiti Malaya Prof. Dr. Saiful delivered speeches, signed an MoU, and unveiled the joint laboratory. The UM delegation then toured the testing center and production line of Plant 53, deepening mutual understanding and paving the way for stronger collaboration in research and innovation.
